Alphasense CO-CX sensors are high-performance carbon monoxide sensors designed for CO detection in combustion environments and stack gas emissions. The CO-CX sensors are recommended for portable and fixed gas monitors. These CO-CF sensors are compliant with EN 50379, meeting the specifications for portable electrical apparatus designed to measure combustion flue gas parameters of heating appliances.

These C-Series sized CO sensors have an extended housing height that supports an additional carbon filter to reduce interference from other combustion gases. The CO-CX comes standard with a filter to remove hydrogen gas and hence provide low hydrogen cross-sensitivity for combustion and industrial safety applications where CO must be measured in the presence of H₂. These CO-CX sensors are recommended for fixed and portable systems, where interferent gases like H2 / H2S / NO2 / NO / SO2 and other combustion gases are present and a robust CO measurement is required.
