Alphasense's CO2 infrared sensors are supplied in the standard miniature (20mm diameter) gas sensor housing. An internal temperature sensor is included to enable the temperature to be monitored, providing compensation for temperature effects, including ideal gas law corrections.

Patented optics give the best signal to noise ratio of any 20mm diameter NDIR and universal linearisation constants allow easy implementation.

Choose either the IRC-A1 (dual channel pyroelectric detector) for best resolution or the IRC-AT (dual channel thermopile detector) for lowest cost. The same sensor can be used for IAQ, safety, combustion and high CO2 process control applications.

Application notes explain linearisation, temperature compensation and circuitry.

Ranges measured by IRC-A1

0 to 5,000ppm CO2

0 to 5% CO2

0 to 20% CO2

0 to 100% CO2

Ranges measured by IRC-AT

0 to 5,000ppm CO2

0 to 5% CO2

0 to 20% CO2

Also available: IRC-TM transmitter board
