Alphasense is expanding
its line of electrochemical toxic gas sensors to address industry-specific
requirements, including emissions monitoring, process safety and
pesticides.
Phosphine (PH3)
For the semiconductor industry, our line of Phosphine sensors covers
the hydrides: Silane (SiH4), Diborane (B2H6), Germane (GeH4) and
Phosphine.
We have also introduced the PH3-AE and PH3-BE sensors specifically
for food storage where higher concentrations of phosphine are encountered.
Available in A and B series.
Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN)
In manufacturing, the use of Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) for food
packaging and other consumer products has increased the danger of
HCN generated during fires. Alphasense has responded to this issue
with HCN sensors with fast response and stable output.
Available in A and D series.
Ethylene Oxide (C2H4O)
This is a general purpose sensor, primarily developed for monitoring
Ethylene Oxide but also capable of measuring other volatile organic
compounds (VOCs). Our toxic evaluation board allows easy adjustment
of the bias voltage to optimise this sensor for the required application.
See our application note AAN113.
Available in A series
Coming soon ...
Hydrogen Chloride (HCl)
We can now provide beta sensors with zero bias, making circuit design
easier. The HCL sensor will also detect Hydrogen Bromide (HBr) and
Hydrogen Fluoride (HF). NB: the sensors must validated for the
particular application.
Available in A series - B available soon
Ammonia (NH3)
Alphasense is currently investigating many technologies to assess
their potential for use as an accurate and stable ammonia sensor.
